Wildflowers have this incredible ability to grow wherever they find a spot that suits them. I have always loved the way that they surprise me by turning up unexpectedly and thriving. I wish I could be more like them!

These are some of my favourite flowers - they can grow so very very tall and when you look closely at the flower heads they are made up of so many perfect little flowers in a riot of colours you don't notice unless you get up close to them.
